1. Scope of Engagement
These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between Care Nest Home Nursing & Healthcare ("Care Nest") and the client, patient, or designated legal guardian ("Client") requesting home healthcare services. By submitting a Patient Registration, placing a Quick Booking, or authorizing nurse dispatch, you agree to comply with all terms set forth herein.
All nurses and attendants provided by Care Nest are credentialed, vetted through reference checks, and supervised by senior clinical dispatch coordinators to ensure hospital-grade care standards.
2. Clinical Assessments & Medical Orders
Home nursing services are provided in accordance with the medical instructions and prescriptions issued by the patient's primary physician or surgeon:
- Physician Prescriptions: Care Nest staff will only administer medications, IV infusions, or specialized wound care following a valid medical prescription from a licensed doctor (PMDC / PMC registered).
- Accurate Medical History: The Client agrees to disclose all known patient allergies, pre-existing chronic conditions (diabetes, cardiac conditions, respiratory illness), and infectious hazards.
- Initial Triage Assessment: Prior to long-term placement, a clinical supervisor evaluates the patient's physical needs to determine the suitable nurse qualification level.
3. Shift Structures & Replacement Policy
To ensure compassionate, uninterrupted care and prevent caregiver fatigue, Care Nest operates under defined shift guidelines:
- Day Shifts: Typically 8 hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or 12 hours (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM).
- Night Shifts: Typically 12 hours (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM) dedicated to nocturnal monitoring, medication timing, and emergency safety.
- 24/7 Live-In Care: Provided through dedicated rotational nurses or a primary resident attendant with scheduled rest periods to maintain vigilance.
- Nurse Replacement Guarantee: In the event of nurse illness or emergency leave, Care Nest guarantees a qualified replacement dispatched within 3 to 4 hours.
4. Safe Home Environment & Code of Conduct
The safety and dignity of both patients and nursing staff are paramount:
- Respectful Work Atmosphere: Clients agree to provide a safe, respectful environment free of verbal harassment, threats, or discrimination.
- Accommodations for Night / Live-in Staff: For 12-hour night and 24-hour live-in assignments, the client must provide clean drinking water, access to sanitary washroom facilities, and a private chair/bed for designated rest intervals.
- Non-Clinical Domestic Labor: Care Nest personnel are strictly contracted for healthcare, hygiene, and patient rehabilitation; they may not be assigned general household cooking, heavy domestic chores, or non-patient tasks.
5. Emergency Protocols & Hospital Transfer
While our registered nurses are trained in CPR and basic life support, home healthcare is not a substitute for intensive care unit (ICU) hospitalization:
- If a patient experiences severe acute clinical deterioration (cardiac arrest, stroke symptoms, acute respiratory distress), our nurse will administer immediate first aid and contact emergency rescue (Rescue 1122 or private ambulance) alongside designated family members.
- Care Nest does not bear liability for delays caused by external ambulance dispatch, hospital triage capacity, or underlying terminal disease progressions.
6. Invoicing, Payments & Cancellation
Financial clarity is a cornerstone of our service:
- Transparent Invoicing: Rates are agreed upon in advance based on shift duration and patient acuity level. Invoices are issued weekly or monthly.
- Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via direct online bank transfer, Raast, JazzCash/EasyPaisa, or official company check issued to Care Nest.
- Cancellation Notice: To adjust or discontinue recurring nursing services, clients are requested to provide a minimum 24-hour advance notice to their care coordinator.
7. Clinical Coordinator Assistance
For questions or contract modifications, our supervisory team is on call 24 hours a day:
